Three movements for alto flute solo : “Abyss” “Awakening” “Apparition”.
These three essences of three stanzas from the English poem “The Salutation” by Thomas Traherne (1637 or 1639-1674) inspired me to compose this piece.
This is a revised edition, which was modified after its debut and three performances in Kitami, Taiwan, Shimonoseki, and Tokyo.

Dedicated to the flutist Takanori Yamane.

‘Prism’ for harpsichord (eBook-music)

A simple melody, a lucid style… It is about my ‘Suite, for trombone solo’ consists of seven movements for beginners’ level to intermediate level.
“Slide Positions”, “Lip Slurs (Cross-Grain Slurs)” with no tongue, just a quick smooth slide motion and supporting air-stream, and “Tongued Slurs” with light tongue (legato tongue) to avoid a smear from one note to the next are indicated.

‘Planetarium’ for piano (right hand) / eBook-music

A contemporary piano piece for transcendent technique of the right hand, that won the 1ª Mención de Honor by the 1st International Composers Competition for Piano Works “Bell’Arte Europa” 2005 (Spain).
This is the revised 2012 version in which the usage of sostenuto pedal is indicated and the conclusion is modified.
A CD of this work arranged for wind orchestra, first performed by the Tokyo Kosei Wind Orchestra, has been released.
It is dedicated to the pianist Brenno Adelchi Ambrosini.

‘Ki-e’ for shakuhachi, guitar, violin, viola, cello (eBook-music)

An audacious movement of ‘expansion’ of the respective traditions of the shakuhachi and the guitar pushed as they are at times to the limits of the possible, increasing the expressive range, the texture of the dialogue, the harmonic dimension and the tone-colour.
The listener can either follow this music in all its minute and complex particulars, or let himself be freely transported by his own vision and dream in no specific direction.
